## CDT and 2022 CDT Changes

#### Course Description

Expand your knowledge of the Code on Dental Procedures and Nomenclature.  We will review the *Current Dental Terminology (CDT)* and the changes in 2022. After you complete this self guided course, you will understand the code on dental procedures and nomenclature CDT, the 2022 CDT changes, code ranges, and insurance billing strategies for common CDT billing codes. This information will help you avoid costly delays, denials and possible fraudulent claims.  You will understand how to submit your claims properly to keep your insurance receivables healthy.  You will discover an easy way to effectively manage, organize, present and implement what you have learned into your practice. You will have downloadable handouts that will help you with your annual CDT code updates.  After you have completed the course you will assess your completed course knowledge with a quiz and obtain your CE (3 hr) credit. 

#### Course Objectives

After the course attendees will:

1. Utilize CDT’s codes accurately and properly
2. Identify the 2022 CDT code updates and proper billing
3. Determine proper billing with your commonly used CDT codes
4. Implement the CDT changes into their practice
