We run reports directly from your PMS database. We use a combination of patient demographics reports, aging reports, and appointment history reports.
Every once in a while, the appointment history data we get from your PMS's database is missing. When that happens, we don't have data to display.
We recommend reviewing the ledger with the patient over the phone. If you have DCS Insurance Billing, there will be a note in the claim that explains the patient portion.
Our apologies: DCS doesn't attach fee schedules to patients or plans.
We will alert you when a plan is terminated but we can't drop it from the patient's account.
We recommend that you reach out to the patient to get updated insurance information. Once it's obtained, let us know and we can complete the breakdown.
